After a few weeks of training,  Craig simply came out and said “Melissa, plan to enter the November 2005 Monster Mash,  as a novice bodybuilder”. In February of 2005 I started to see changes in my body and I began to realize that maybe I COULD enter a competition. At this time I realized I needed to research competing as much as possible. During this research I accidentally came across an article on “Figure Competitors”. I had never heard of a figure competitor before but I immediately knew that this was for me!!!! 

    
   So…4 months later I entered my first show and took home 4th place. Six months after that (and 2 more 4th places) I won my first show and my WNBF Pro card!!!.

– To continue to compete for many years. At the moment (July, 2006) I am training for my next show which will be the “WNBF Worlds” in New York, on November, 11, 2006.
